LIL UZI VERT SHOUTS OUT YOUNG THUG ON HIS BORN DAY

Young Thug is down bad. On Wednesday, August 16, thanks to an ongoing 56-count RICO case, the Atlanta rapper turned 32 in a Georgia jail.

A couple of rapper’s showed the YSL boss some love from the outside. One of those rappers was Lil Uzi Vert. On Thugga’s born day, Lil Uzi Vert paid homage to the imprisoned rapper through an IG post.

The post was a recreation of Young Thug’s Barter 6 mixtape cover. In the caption, Lil Uzi Vert wrote “Happy birthday @thuggerthugger1 Barter 16 [B emoji] soon [blood drop emoji] Love You [green heart emoji].

Over the past couple of weeks, Lil Uzi Vert has gone on the record saying Thugga had the greatest influence on their music style and image.

In July, Vert announced they will be dropping a new mixtape — the Barter 16. The mixtape seems to be inspired by Lil Wayne’s The Carter album series and Thugga’s Barter 6 mixtape.

As of this post, there is no official release date for the Barter 16. But Lil Uzi Vert is expected to drop the project soon. The album will most likely drop while Thugga’s still behind bars. #FreeThugga.
