On Monday, Jan 31, Rapper Gunna a made tweet that read, “Ay, @pushinpeth making a crypto meta verse for us! @shanemooncharts backing the project, I know this gonna fly. IM TAKIMG THIS TO THE MOON JOIN THE TELEGRAPH HERE. He was announcing that he was launching his new very own cryptocurrency deemed “PushinPETH”.
Not even a day later the tweet and PushinPETH were deleted, quickly leading fans to believe this was an attempt to scam his very own audience. The site is still up and even describes itself as “A cryptocurrency that works for you, helps you increase your holdings over time. We offer complete transparency and the latest security to all our holders.
Additionally, the liquidity is locked on unicrypt and the ownership of the contract is renounced”. Many believe this to not be true and very misleading for the fact that the value of the currency raised and quickly dropped as investors pulled their investments out as people bought and raised the value of the coin, making it worthless. This is called a rug pool. Do you think this was a scam attempt?
